To You From Us is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to develop and support children and families in underserved communities. Our vision is to equip marginalized communities in becoming self-sufficient, resilient, and resourceful through S.T.E.M - Service, Training, Education and Mentorship. We believe in fostering a sense of unity, compassion and empowerment through various programs and initiatives. We are proud to have committed staff, board members and volunteers who are passionate about advocating for children and families. Working together is how we improve lives and affect change.
Our Founder
Greetings! I'm Kenitra Eagans, the Founder and Executive Director of To You From Us, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Lancaster, Texas. My journey is woven with threads of passion, purpose, and a steadfast commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families in underserved communities.
Witnessing first hand the devasting affects of Covid-19, particularly in marginalized areas, I felt compelled to dedicate my efforts to a cause that would help children and families escape the cycle of scarcity and unmet aspirations. Thus, during the height of the global pandemic in 2021, To You From Us was established with the strong intention to create positive change. I was motivated to be a beacon of hope, seeking to change mindsets and trajectories even in the most challenging of times.

With more than 20 years of experience in various roles in corporate America, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. This background equips me with a unique perspective on how to bridge the gap between potential and opportunity for the children and families we serve. As a wife, mother and Multiple Sclerosis survivor, my personal journey is a testament to the importance of support, empowerment, and resilience in the face of adversity.

Our mission at To You From Us is clear: to embrace, equip, and empower children and families in underserved communities to become self-sufficient through STEM - Service, Training, Education, and Mentoring. STEAM education forms the bedrock of our approach, offering a pathway to self-sufficiency by nurturing critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. Through community outreach, mentorship programs, educational resources, hands-on training and volunteerism, we aim to provide the tools necessary for our children and families to flourish.

The impact we envision reaches far beyond the walls of our organization. It's about instilling a sense of empowerment and capability in every family, fostering a belief that they possess the power to shape their own destiny.
